Best Worcestershire Summer spots from LWYL Founder

As restrictions begin to ease, there are so many spots and things to do in and around Worcestershire especially during the Summertime that will truly make you fall in love with where you live!

LWYL Founder, Gillian, has rounded up some of her favourite and best Worcestershire Summer spots to spend either relaxing, exploring and discovering either with the children or even on your own.

  1. Hanbury Hall

Make the most of the extra hours of sunshine this summer by a lovely walk through the beautiful gardens at Hanbury Hall.

One of the more tranquil spots in Worcestershire, Hanbury Hall gardens peak during these warmer months presenting some of the most striking colours and scents to take in.

With around 400 acres of land, visitors can set off on the historical trails that surround Hanbury Hall with their four-legged friends. From thirty minutes up to two-hour walks, the parkland has something for everyone.

2. Cotswold Lavender Fields – Broadway

One place that is a MUST on your summer bucket list this year should be the Cotswold Lavender Fields.

Located on the outskirts of the village Snowshill and on the cusps of Worcestershire, Cotswold Lavender is a stone’s throw away from the historical National Trust Property Snowshill Manor.

Only open to the public until 5th August 2021, Cotswold Lavender is the perfect place for a scented escape whilst relaxing in countless rows of lavender bushes. The experience doesn’t have to stop as there is a new hut in the field for drinks, snacks and to shop lavender range.

Please bear in mind that the harvest season usually starts the last week of July so best to visit soon before the purple fields are all gone until next year.

As one of the UK’s few remaining open-air saltwater swimming pools, the Lido Park is a must-visit this summer.

With a 40m pool, a ‘West Play Area’ for kids, sun terraces and even a cafe, we are sure the Droitwich Spa Lido will be a splashing good time. With restrictions easing on July 19, all customers will still need to pre-book their sessions online.
